December 1 is World AIDS Day, a day to help prevent and raise awareness of HIV, support those with HIV, and remember those who have lost their lives to HIV-related illness. HIV can affect anyone, regardless of sexual orientation, race, gender, or age. Talking about HIV, getting tested, and knowing your status is an important step in the fight against HIV.

STI Screenings at Care Medical Group

At Care Medical Group, we offer STI screening to protect you and those in our community. The frequency of getting tested depends on your situation. If you have frequent sexual partners, you should get tested in between each partner. For those that are sexually active with a long-term mutually monogamous partner, you should get tested once a year. Some people may benefit from more frequent screenings.

We can test for STIs including:

  • HIV
  • Chlamydia
  • Gonorrhea
  • Syphilis
  • Hepatitis
  • Herpes
  • HPV

Scheduling an STI Screening

Appointments and walk-ins for STI screenings are welcome. When meeting with one of our providers, they can answer questions you may have, determine which tests best meet your needs, and provide you with additional resources. Once you get tested, we will be in contact with you shortly to let you know your results.

Care Medical Group is located at 4043 Northwest Ave, Bellingham, WA 98226. We are open Mon-Fri 8am-7pm and Saturday 9am-4pm. Please call us at (360) 734-4300 to schedule an appointment or get more information about our STI screenings.
