Job Description
Care Medical Group in Bellingham, WA is seeking two professional, self-motivated, and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapists to join our team. The successful candidates will provide therapeutic massage to patients with a variety of needs, including injury recovery, pain management, and overall wellness. This is a part-time position, with flexible hours including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform therapeutic massages (30-60 minutes) for clients, including Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, and other modalities as needed.
- Assess clients’ needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Consult with clients and medical professionals to address pain, injury recovery, and wellness goals.
- Assist with patient scheduling and insurance verifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of massage therapy room and equipment.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care conferences and adhere to clinic policies and HIPAA regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Washington State Massage Therapy license.
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a professional massage therapist.
- Experience working with injured patients or in a clinical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of additional massage modalities is a plus (e.g., sports, myofascial, oncology, hot stone).
- Strong communication skills and excellent customer service.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
- Physical ability to perform massage and stand for extended periods.
